The Colorado Cruisers Band strives to play feel-good songs that have the largest mainstream appeal, positive energy and dancibility. These are the songs that were in constant rotation on all FM Stations from the 70's and 80's to the MTV Classics from 1980-1986, when MTV ruled the media-world.
Some Band highlights from the last five years include:
In 2008, the band performed at the Loveland, CO annual summer city fair, Summerfest in the Rockies.
In 2009, the band was selected to perform at Mile High Stadium for the Denver Broncos’ 50th Anniversary Game on October 11, 2009, when the Denver Broncos beat the New England Patriots, 20-17 in an overtime thriller.
In 2010, the band traveled to Alliance, Nebraska to open for Denver’s Legendary Cover Band, Five-Thirteen, at The Toadstock Fall Harvest Music Festival.
In 2011, after 25 gigs in 25 weeks, the band wrapped their 2011 Cars, Bars and Guitars Tour as the only band selected to play at The Fifth Annual Colax Cruise. The Colfax Cruise is the nations largest cruise at 52 miles per lap. From Golden to East Aurora, over 5,000 cars cruised at 5 mph just 10 feet from the front of the stage at Lakewood Mazda while The Colorado Cruisers Band filled the sky with classic rock.
In 2012, the band, in a desire to perform more than 25 times a year, evolved into three separate bands; The CCB Duo, The CCB Unplugged and of course, The CCB. The Colorado Cruisers Band can now perform at any type event from small intimate private locales to arenas and stadiums.
When it comes to The CCB, there isn’t an event that is too small or too large. If there’s a crowd looking for a good time, the Colorado Cruisers Band is your ultimate party band. They have played everything from festivals, car and bike shows, strip malls, bars, private parties, arenas, stadiums, and even back-yard barbeques, to local established bar and grills such as: The Buffalo Rose, Caldonias, Herman’s Hideaway, The Draft, The Trailside Saloon, Wrigley’s, Lincoln's Roadhouse, Fat Fenders, Scotty's Side Door Saloon, The Finish Line, and In the Zone.
